range detonated munitions isnt anything new..its been used since the 1800's, lime-shot and 18/25pounder air-burst shells are amazing examples..

whats cooler imo the concrete bombs and ofc the "excalibur" self-guided (within ~4meters over 40-57km depending on rocket assisted or not with a fault correction angle of 45degree) if they manage to install that system in the PzH-2000 SPAS (self propelled artillery systems) ur talking high precision delivery of 155mm shells capable of firing at upto 8targets, pack-up and be on the move before the first shot impacts..
